Let’s talk
A carer walks arm in arm with a resident who uses a walking stick, along the garden path of the nursing home. The resident is talking and she listens

For elderly care

Colleagues you can count on.

GP-Care places carers, senior carers and nurses with nursing and care homes. Full-time and for the longer term, on a permanent ward.

First want to see how it works? How we work

Different from a staffing agency

Not one-off shifts, but a permanent team member

With a staffing agency, you call when the night shift is off sick. Then someone comes for one night. With GP-Care, you get a colleague who stays.

What you’re used to

One-off shifts through a staffing agency

  • You call when there’s a gap in the rota
  • Every shift can mean a different face
  • You explain your ward again and again

How GP-Care works

A permanent team member through GP-Care

  • 36 hours a week, for the longer term
  • You do the rota yourself, just as for your own team
  • We are the employer. If they’re ill, you call us
A carer puts down a cup of coffee with a biscuit for a resident at the table, just the way he likes it

What you can expect from us

Good care starts with a steady team

A colleague who works on your ward for a long time really gets to know your residents. Who wants coffee first thing in the morning and who gets restless when it’s busy. Your team doesn’t have to explain that again every shift.

  • A permanent ward

Your new colleague belongs to one team. No stream of new faces.

  • One point of contact

That’s Hilde. You tell your story once, and she keeps track of everything.

  • Honest from the start

In the first conversation you hear who we can find, how long that takes and what it costs.

How it goes

Five steps to a permanent colleague

You tell us what your team needs. We think along with you, from searching to support.

  1. Your request

We get to know your ward, your team and your residents. What kind of colleague fits here?

  2. Selection

We search and screen. You only see people who fit you and your team.

  3. Preparation

We arrange the contract and the practical side. We plan the first weeks together.

  4. Placement

Your new colleague starts on your ward. In the first weeks we ask you both how it’s going.

  5. Support

We stay involved, with your colleague and with you. If something isn’t working, we help find a way.

Shall we talk?

A first conversation with Hilde is about people. About your team, your residents and what your ward needs. Tell us who you’re looking for and she’ll call you back. No strings attached.
